全球Xpress offers two quite different service propositions. The 服务 are enabled by two complementary payloads on-board each of the GX satellites in Viasat’s constellation:
全球 Service Beams and their associated satellite payload that underpin the provision of managed 服务 across the patchwork of 89 beams on each satellite and allow users to seamlessly roam and deploy anywhere in the world within the GX footprint.
High 能力 Payload Users can access 全球Xpress Mil-Ka wideband capacity with terminals that are fully compatible with military satellite systems, such as the Wideband 全球 卫星通信 (WGS) system, to fulfill their requirements and enhance their flexibility of operations cost-effectively.
全球Xpress high capacity steerable beams operating in the military Ka-band allow NATO and Five Eyes military users to access reliable and highly available wideband capacity as part of their own independent network, in the same frequency band as national systems. Military Ka-band beams operate in loopback or connect into Viasat or government-owned Satellite Access Stations.
